THE GOLDY POND EXPERIENCE | BOARDS FOR ‘THE PROMISED NEVERLAND’ ZINE PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

In these boards, I was to showcase several characters from the manga series ‘The Promised Neverland’, through one scene and how they interact with each other during a heated moment in the story.

My goal was to promote the zine in an exciting and light-hearted manner and express each character’s personality.

Using a variety of exaggerated poses and incorporating entertaining character acting, it results in a comedic action-packed short.

STE(A)M TRUCK INTRODUCTION | BOARDS FOR STE(A)M TRUCK

For this project, I was tasked to plan a storyboard for an introductory animation that can be used for STE(A)M TRUCK’s upcoming collection of videos.

The goal was to showcase how their symbol, the truck itself, open possibilities for discoveries that can be found in the steam field.

Due to the short duration of the introductory animation, I wanted to express that expansive creative world by having the truck “open up the doors” and showing a cast of characters interacting with set pieces related to each field.

AMBUSH | BOARDS FOR ‘THE PROMISED NEVERLAND’ CHAPTER 117

For the manga series “The Promised Neverland”, Chapter 117 consisted of a scene where the protagonist and her sister are leaving an enemy base, where they find themselves ambushed at the exit.

Using the first-person of climbing up the ladder and the sudden zoom out to reveal the entirety of the shot, the goal was to express the anticipation and looming unexpected threat that waits off-screen in the same vain as the animated adaptation and the original comic.
